Austin-based funk fusion collective Blue Tongue’s music is served with equal parts funk, psych and electrifying live performances.  Known for their exceptional musical chops, air-tight rhythm section, infallibly tasteful horns, funky guitars and colorful synths, Blue Tongue always brings a masterful sonic experience complete with on-stage acrobatics and the occasional video game soundtrack reference.

With live shows this dynamic, it’s no surprise that opportunities abound in the form of festivals, national tours, an official performance at NAMM, and club shows opening for beloved acts like Ghost-Note, Giacomo Turra, Sam Greenfield, Here Come the Mummies, and Ghost Funk Orchestra, as well as an after show following Vulfpeck.

The band’s sonic exploration is supported by an impressive lineup of endorsements, including ADV-Sound, Marco Bass Guitars, Tsakalis Audioworks, Anatomy of Sound, as well as a Chilean-inspired collaboration with the local salsa masters at Fantastic Fuego, with their custom blue salsa, “Blumitas.”
